Allowing municipalities to bypass sections of the Greenbelt Act and Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act goes directly against the conservatives campaign promises to protect the Greenbelt, and the Conservative government should not allow this to go forward. This is more than just a reversal in policy; it’s a dangerous retreat to a time of environmental ignorance that could have significant consequences. As the people of Ontario have voiced before, we want to protect our greenbelt and our fresh water sources. Please ensure that this does not go forward
