I strongly object to changing the Eagle's Nest Mine Project environmental assessment requirements. The scope of the project may have changed, and could change the assessment requirements however mining is known to be detrimental to the environment in many ways, and this must be thoroughly understood for this mine and any mine so we do not create another Grassy Narrows catatrasophe. Moreover this project required Indigenous consent of all communities potentially affected by the mining activities, not just those on the direct land to be mined.
