We need to live in balance with nature, co- exist together. Please do not change this Act to what has been proposed. Ontario Palace destruction has resulted in destroying coyotes homes and now they have no choice but to establish a new home in Liberty Village, and the result is residents having to walk their dogs with giant sticks in case they get attacked by coyotes, looking for food. Same issue at Jack Darling Park as a result of new development around Mississauga Road & Lakeshore. We can’t continue ignoring & killing animals this way in the name of progress. Progress is co-existing and preserving nature. Consider nature corridors for safe animal passes, re-development of existing housing, look at other countries who have managed to find this balance. Short cuts will only result in long term solutions for which only Ontarians will suffer.
