I do not agree with the changes proposed in Bill 5 or the changes to the Endangered Species act. As a graduate with a Masters in Sustainability, and an environmental educator, I believe these changes will damage the environmental systems that Ontario is dependent on. If we do not prioritize protecting the environment we live in, there will be irreversible impacts socially, ecologically and economically. Short term issues will be resolved but will only lead to long term problems.
