I am opposed to Bill 5, Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025.

Ontario needs strong environmental protections. This bill places the profits of some over the environment and the health of all Ontarians. I strongly object to the proposal of Bill 5.

This bill removes consultations with Indigenous authorities which is regressive and disrespectful.

I oppose the proposition of special economic zones, as all of Ontario needs to be protected.

I implore you to respect and strengthen the ESA rather than replace it with a watered down version that suits the needs of industry rather than the future of Ontario and its residents.

I respectfully ask that Bill 5 be withdrawn or at least for a longer public consultation.
