There is plenty of under utilized and pre zoned land available for development in Ontario within city and town boundaries. We need to avoid building on green fields and protect natural areas as a top priority. We need to make SARA stronger not weaker. Natural areas are a legacy we leave for future generations, once it's developed it's gone forever. Natural areas provide vital ecosystem services like climate regulation, clean water, fresh area, habitat, and recreational opportunities for people. These undeveloped areas are priceless and need our protection.
