Up front, I strongly oppose the destruction and replacement of Ontario's Endangered Species Act.

Noting specifically I object a Species Conservation as it is vastly different from a desired Species Protection.

Ministerial discretion to remove species from the legal protected list: POLITICIANS should NOT REPLACE the committee of SCIENTISTS who dictate legal listing and protection decisions.

Registration system is useless as it allows those seeking to destroy species at risk or their habitat much easier and quicker. We must maintain the permit system!

Respectfully, I would like to note that Ontario seems to have a specific wolf hatred. This hatred will be fuelled and wolf killings will be exacerbated by proposed changes to the act. Completely unacceptable. Respectfully.
