In general I don't want to hava any changes on the Endangered Species Act 2007. And what I see as most dangerous is this part:
"Under the proposed new approach, instead of waiting for the ministry to approve permits, most proponents will be able to begin an activity immediately after registering. "

We cannot trust that the individual or business will comply with all the requirements; a simple registration is not enough; they should definitely get the permit, with a previous inspection of the site by the authorities, before starting any work in an area protected or near endangered species.
