This Omnibus bill proposes actions that would permanently damage vital Ontario wetlands and farmland, and will lead to costly (wasteful) court battles funded by taxpayer money.
The Endangered Species Act, the Species Conservation Act, and environmental assessment reviews are in place to ward off exactly the sort of self-serving landgrab fest Ford's Bill 5 proposes.
The Ford government will lose yet another short-sighted, greed driven round of legal cases.
This province is not a private garden for Ford and his cronies to plunder at their leisure.
