I am deeply concerned that you are considering a site without conducting thorough studies, particularly given its proximity to a town, community, and significant natural resources. If you were confident that this site would meet all the necessary parameters for a landfill, you would likely have no reservations about conducting a full environmental study. In my opinion, the reason for not undertaking a full study is the fear of identifying significant impacts on the environment, watershed, and neighboring communities.

I am opposed to waiving the detailed study, finding it unacceptable. I acknowledge the importance of landfills, but this need does not supersede the wellbeing of our community and environment.
