Why do humans like to think they know what is best? First Nation people only hunted out of necessity and used every part of the animal. They respected the sacrifice the living creature was to them. Life is cyclical and mother nature has her reason for everything.
This is an outright slaughter of a living being. It is immoral to allow hunters to bag even 1 Double-crested Cormorant let alone 50! Are we that thirsty to rid ourselves of living beings that don't do what we desire?
This type of behaviour really saddens me.
