This bill is overreaching…

This bill is overreaching and unethical. No one should be forced to live 1km from a landfill on land that has never had a full environmental assessment. The public and first nation peoples have a right to object and give their input into projects that directly endanger them and the environment.

Tariffs are absolutely no excuse to force these things. We want our projects done safely, in an ethical manner and with the informed consent of the public and first nations.

"Special economic zones" are unacceptable and no one should have that kind of power. Municipalities and reserves never should have to resort to this amount of rallying to have their opions heard. I want my family to enjoy the nature we have, not fearing a dump will be on their literal doorstep because of Bill 5.
