I do not believe this Government. Our Community has reached out many times to have help in Funds for Supportive Housing Projects, the HART program, a much needed Arena to be built and found out we received no Support in Funds from this Government. In fact it is learned that a large amount of roadway which used to be Provincially Funded and in all other areas still is, in 1998. 20 to 25 million was given to the Municipality upon Amalgamation as it was now our responsibility to take care of all roadways other then the 401 and 40 Highway stretch that goes through our Municipality. We were downloaded all bridges, ditches, roads, and culverts. Well even back in 1998 that money would not last long and would never even cover the cost of repair to Talbot Trail (Provincial Highway 3) in our area. As stated and has been seen other areas not only have had this road in their areas repaired but widened. We get 10 million dollars annually to be applied to our Infrastructure Costs. I can guarantee only 2 other areas are capped, and all other areas no matter the size receive more yearly.

Fast Forward to when your Government receives Notice from our Municipality that an Environmental Assessment was being requested on a piece of land that many years ago was used as a dump. You not only promised to have this done, but you received Election Money from said Company, and now state that the Province is in a State of Emergency because you don’t want a dump to handle your garbage in your Backyard. How about use an abandoned factory around Toronto and dump it there, since you no longer want to have an EA completed. This land flows into our waterways and into our land. Broken Promises will not be Tolerated or Forgotten. But it shows money talks and you and your Party do not care at all about this area, which our Farmlands have some of the richest of dirts and supplies a lot of produce to many areas of Ontario. Wonder if you would eat a piece of fruit or vegetable grown outside of this landfill. Would you take a drink of water from a neighbouring well ??

Do the right thing for once and support us like you do everyone else, like those that paid thousands of dollars towards your election.
