I am writing to express deep concern about the conservative government's continued efforts to dismantle Ontario's environmental safeguards.
Fast-tracking major infrastructure projects without proper environmental assessments or Indigenous consultation is irresponsible and dangerous.
Environmental and worker protections are not "red tape." They're critical for a healthy, resilient economy and a thriving democracy, and take care of our future and the future of our children.
Please do not repeal the Endangered Species Act. Protect Ontario's environment.
Respect Indigenous rights and community voices. And build responsibly with the long-term well-being of this province in mind.
