I am concerned with the amount this current government already refuses to follow protocol and constantly circumvents their constituents wishes, that being given the ability to essentially bypass all regulations, will allow unprecedented damage to the environment, as well as a complete disregard for proper labour rights and regulations. The current framework should be left in place, as this government cannot be trusted with essentially free-rein to do whatever they please. This will also almost certainly only benefit those with connections to Queen’s Park, and I can already predict that those trying to build anything that doesn’t align with this party’s ideology will not be able to take the liberties this bill would otherwise allow.
