Ignoring the natural habitats of endangered species, or even declining populations of others, is a dangerous procedure because of the delicate balance of ecosystems. Humans need the green foliage and wildlife to balance our own systems, of mental health as well. The treeless suburbs of mega houses worth millions are not good use of land nor affordable to most people and surely rules out the great populations who may need to rent a small house. The thinking is not inclusive when it destroys but does not provide.
