The proposed bill is a direct reflection of Doug Ford’s ambition to succeed at getting homes built at any cost. In this case it is the species. Last time it was the greenbelt. He plows through farm land to make highways so that more people can get jammed trying to work in Toronto.
Next the tunnel.
New houses won’t help as their prices will still be unaffordable for my university educated, post grad degree kid who makes a whopping 63000$ a year. Changing the current endangered species act is irresponsible and does not benefit Ontario in any way.
