This is a horrendous bill that will do immeasurable harm to our environment, our communities, and our economy. To bring such a reductionist approach is short-sighted and incredibly violent towards a variety of plants and animals that deserve to not live and live well. Even the process of comments, specifically closing them on the Saturday of a long weekend, is deeply cynical. This government should be ashamed of their approach to our ecological well-being and this bill should be flatly rejected.
