This seems like it’s just kicking the can, probably will do the same in 2031. I understand costs may be higher than expected it that’s just the cost of doing business. Make producers pay more if that’s needed, maybe they could take some profits and invest in a better recycling process instead of complaining “it’s contaminated” other more popular parts of the world have figured this out yet Ontario is going slow and not planning this properly. Changes are uncomfortable and challenging but that’s what you sign up for being a business owner.

Don’t delay these targets this affects us all both positively and negatively. Producers get to save some money and get time at the cost of tax payers/society & the environment going backwards, with slower forward movement and growth.
