Such amendment is increasing the number of units more than double of the existing buildings and also in height. The new developments will further expand into the existing green space of the creek. Light and traffic noise pollution will definitely affect the wildlife in this area. I live near to this development and I spotted twice of deers. Even a week ago two big deers resting in my ravine outside my fence. Another important factor is heavy traffic on Apple Creek and Woodbine Avenue intersection. It’s hilly and the traffic lights are blocked from view before 36 Apple Creek entrance approaching the traffic lights heading west. The new project does not include more long term care units but higher condominiums in low density neighborhoods. There are several condominium developments close by So I don’t think we need such an expansion.
