I strongly oppose the sale of Beach 1 and 2 to Wasaga Beach. Piping Plovers are an endangered species and they have been successfully nesting there since 2008. Attempting to move them would be extremely detrimental to their future existence. How dare the government of Ontario choose money over the life of an incredibly vulnerable living thing that is under threat of extinction. This is absolutely disgusting. Red tape is there for a reason. Develop responsibly and follow conservation rules! Humans are not the only living thing that matters. We don’t have the right to deliberately cause the extinction of another species. Ontario - and it’s wildlife - are not for sale!!!
