I am very concerned about the potential loss of habitat for the endangered Piping Plover due to this proposal. I am requesting that the government PLEASE ensure that the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park retains the approximately 1.5 km area of the beach from Spruce street to the mouth of the Nottawsaga River, which is ideal nesting habitat for these birds. This will allow the provincial park to continue the stewardship of the Piping Plover Program which ensures this endangered species can successfully breed. Thank you.
