Dear Hon. Minister,

Hamilton badly needs this site for housing. There are over 100 peoplel homeless in the city who could use this location for the partial rent geared to income housing in this location. Also, regular people in the city with careers and families need market rentals too. This site sitting vacant has become a target for crime and squatters and it is less than 1km from an elementary school.

It is also in the Northend and by being a vacant lot, it is subject to graffitti and is also bringing the property values down in the neighbourhood. This is a beautiful area where tourists come in the summer to see the Bayfront during holidays and weekends. It is also a culturally relevant area for music and art. It would be nice if the housing in this spot reflected the beauty of the community.
