The province should immediately issue this MZO to advance affordable housing in Hamilton. It is outrageous that CN rail has been able to delay this project by years. We have a housing crisis and need to stop delaying projects like this. The site was residential before this and had no noise or vibration mitigation at all and holding the new development up because of noise and vibration concerns is no right. People who live near rail lines and shunting yards know that there is noise and vibration and they accept that.
