I was a resident to this community for 15 years. I had friends who grew up in these housing units who were later displaced because new development. It has been extremely disheartening to see this land sit empty for so long when there are unhoused and precariously housed folks who would greatly benefit from affordable housing. We need housing solutions now. It can only start with building on lots that sit empty such as this one.
