I live directly across the street from this proposed development. The property, in its vacant state, has become a safety and wellbeing issue for our neighbourhood. The concerns brought forward by CN Rail, while understandable, do not warrant holding our neighbourhood hostage. We all live with the awareness that we live next to a rail yard. This is a part of life and we accept the noise, pollution, etc.

Please approve this MZO and allow this development to move forward. Please also consider requiring an increase in affordable housing units during the first phase of the project as a condition of development. Our city is in desperate need of more affordable housing. As a concerned and compassionate neighbour, I want to see this development begin construction ASAP.
