Jamesville was a residential area in Hamilton. It fell into disrepair and the residents had to leave.
The city intends to rebuild Jamesville. What new issues (brought up by CN Rail) could possibly arise that were not there when Jamesville was originally constructed. Let's get on with this project. Hamilton needs all the supportive housing it can get and doesn't need any more "grandstanding" from CN Rail.
I lived for 21 years near the CP Rail Kinnear Yard. CP continues to do their shunting there and nearby residents seem to co-exist with it. It should be no different at Jamesville.
