Ontarios Provincial Parks were created as a place for generations of Canadians to enjoy and should remain untouched indefinitely. There is no excuse (other than sheer greed) that would justify gutting our provincial parks. The Ford government can’t help but see dollar signs for themselves and their developer friends when eyeing up untouched gems in Ontario, like Wasaga beach. It was evident with the recent Greenbelt Scandal and again with the destruction of Ontario Place. The studies have been done, there is ample space for development without paving our most cherished sites.
