I believe that the divestment of part of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is yet another attempt to download provincial responsibilities onto the municipalities. They are already stretched thin with other things that were downloaded by the province. The municipalities have neither the expertise nor the funding to carry out the stewardship of this prime public jewel that is home to numerous endangered species including the plover. Please reconsider this decision and keep this area under the provincial umbrella for ours and future generations.
