I am strongly opposed to selling ANY land that belongs to Ontario Provincial Parks for development. These places are protected for a reason. They are crucial for preserving a natural environment and many vulnerable and endangered species. Nature and rare wildlife attract visitors better than any artificial tourist attractions. Ontario is blessed to have two known locations where endangered piping plovers nest: Darlington Provincial Park and Wasaga Beach. Lifting protections on their habitats and selling this land to developers will lead to the destruction of the few habitats they have left. Please don't do this.
