Wasaga Beach Provincial Park isn’t just a summer destination, it’s one of the last remaining nesting grounds for the endangered Piping Plover in Ontario. These tiny shorebirds have made a fragile comeback since 2007, thanks to years of careful stewardship and protection.
I am vehemently against the selling of provincial park lands. This risk is even greater now that critical protections in the Endangered Species Act have been removed by the poorly conceived and short sited Bill 5
Please embrace a seventh generation mindset, and consider how the decisions that are made today affect the land that sustains us, and future generations.
