It is disrespectful to Ontarians that you’re trying to sell off public lands to the benefit of a few private entities. People who live in this province value the conservation of nature and public spaces. Yet the government of Ontario continues to pawn off our most valuable resource, our land, to Doug Ford’s cronies.
None of your constituents want this or voted for it. We want accessible, open provincial parks! Species at risk depend on them, and you’re blatantly disrespecting Indigenous Peoples and environmental professionals by rushing through the consultation process (if you can even call it that!). Listen to the people and retract this amendment proposal now.
