How can one not comprehend how ridiculous this is. How can you even think about just selling land that theoretically doesn’t belong to you? This land has been THE most successful grounds for our endangered Piping Plover, which had a total count of 5 breeding pairs this year within Ontario. Does that not sound extreme??? But of course why would anyone care about that after the Bill 5 shenanigans. Ridiculous. Our Plovers and beaches specifically are genuinely such an important asset to our environmental diversity that I know for a fact, everyone loves. Just the idea of the “longest fresh water beach in the world” sounds like it should be worth protecting no??
