Doug Ford’ s government do not care about the environment or the species that inhabit it. Issues like this regarding provincial parks that are paid for by the taxpayers should be decided upon by the taxpayers not rammed through the legislature by a majority government whose favors developers and tourism over both. Environmental sensitive areas in Ontario are being overrun with tourists at the cost of wildlife and the peaceful, once safe small communities enjoyed by the people who care about them and put their personal efforts into protecting it. I live in a small rural community that was once a haven for safe roads to travel, the ability to enjoy a clean, safe, peaceful place to live. Our area was once a UNESCO world heritage area. Our tourism consisted of people who came here to hike, bike and enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty. Now we are overrun with people from large cities who have no respect for the environment or the people who live here. Every year our local service clubs and volunteers clean up the highways, rural roads and beaches of the garbage they leave behind. This conservatives government has no respect for the people or the environment.
