Parcelling parts of our Provincial Parks for development is a betrayal of the trust Ontarians put in our elected officials.
Provincial parks are a treasure to be enjoyed by everyone not to be sold to developers for profit or friends of government for favors.
I’ve personally been enjoying Ontario’s provincial parks since 1965 and couldn’t imagine hotels sitting in these sacred beautiful spaces preserved by previous governments who had the wisdom to set that land aside for all Ontarians to enjoy. Our parks are not for the profit of developers, hoteliers or private corporations.
Changing or amending the Provincial park and conservation reserve act is betrayal of Ontario’s residents and the people of Wasaga Beach.
