I oppose this amendment. Provincial parks are important for protecting land and wildlife found on this land, something that a town with tourists interests in minds would not be. This could also lead to the lands becoming less accessible to people who want to enjoy mature. Finally, the provincial park is home to nesting piping plovers, an endangered species.
