This is a terrible idea. Wasaga Beach is one of the longest freshwater beaches in the world and should be regarded as a National Treasure. Once this land is designated for development there is no going back. We are already losing so much of our natural landscapes to development that it changing the natural environmental safeguards against climate change disasters. And this Government seems to put what is publicly owned on sale to the highest bidder or its developer friends or supporters. We have already lost Ontario Place to a foreign investor, the same as 407. Doug Ford and the conservatives don't have the best interests at heart for the people of Ontario and for future generations.
