As s child my Grandmother's owned 2 cottages on 1st Avenue Brocks Beach. It was magical place to grow up spending summers in late 1940s. The birds on the beach ,known as plovers would run in and out with the tidal waves and gave great interest and enjoyment, however their numbers dwindled sadly.
It is with great sadness I'm told that although they've made a modest comeback they are now being threatened by new legislation that will again thwart their resurgence to a sustainable population. What does it take take manking realize that as many species are ever dwindling
Our own survival isn't far behind.
Please stop these regressive policies, step forward to save our highly valued wildlife!
I recently had a visit from an Irish Family ,who woefully lamented that we are so very fortunate to have an abundance of wild creatures ,as theirs are all wiped out!! Let us NOT BE COME IRELAND!!
