This proposal sets a very bad precedent. Why would we want our precious provincial parks sold to developers? Putting aside the very real threat to species (like the piping plover at Wasaga), provincial parks are important to people. Our provincial parks are crowded every year and with our growing population we need *more* provincial parks, not *fewer.*
I'd like to see what your proposed legislation says about other parks. Will it make it easier for governments to sell them for development in future?
After your gov's attempt to develop green land around Toronto, I don't trust you to do the right thing going forward. That's how trust works.
