This is not an improvement, it is a selfish act reducing environmental protection when we already have so little of it. We need more environmental protection. The tourism that is purported to be the purpose of this will not thrive without the biodiversity and healthy environment we are losing so quickly.
Every location that is part of the nesting grounds of an endangered species should have full protection from development and any other human interferance. Continued loss of biodiversity in earth's latest extinction event caused by us is a danger. The dominant species has never survived an extinction event and humand will not be the first unless we reverse course.
