The removal of lands from Wasaga Beach Provincial Park - a location with over 1.3 million annual visitors - is unacceptable.
We KNOW that developers are required to make profits, and that they will act in accordance with that and not with the public interest.
We created the government and Parks Ontario to look after the public interest by protecting our common heritage. Short term financial gain for a few is not the public interest, and we must stop and rethink our actions
