I am a local resident and strongly oppose this proposal. Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is a cherished natural area, and I do not support removing land from provincial protection or selling it to developers. Once this land is gone, we can’t get it back. These areas should be preserved for public use and environmental protection, not handed over for short-term economic gain. I urge the government to keep Beach Areas 1, 2, New Wasaga, Allenwood, and Nancy Island within the Provincial Park system to ensure they remain protected for future generations.
