Piping Plovers are an extremely endangered species and need our protection. Parks staff as well as the plover program staff have worked hard for years to preserve these nesting pairs so that the Piping Plover is not extirpated from the province. It would be a shame to undo that. Please do NOT hand wasaga beach over to the city. This is careless and harmful for an already sensitive species!
