This is absolutely disgraceful. In a time when extreme weather threatens all of us, any plan that removes critically important flood reduction (via currently protected sand dunes) is exactly what is wrong with conservative governing. Setting this precedent will open all of our provincial parks to similar treatment. This will only end badly, with more floods, fires, and endangered species as proof of our own arrogance.
Ontario deserves better than a rampaging thug who barely graduated high school. His lack of knowledge and lack of understanding is breathtaking. Taking the best of this province and allowing developers anywhere near our natural spaces is foolish in the extreme.
