This Provincial Park plays a huge impact on our already struggling Great Lakes drinking water systems. To have it sold to the town so that 'resorts' can be developed perched on a drinking water basin is reckless and endangering. Wasaga Beach is already overdeveloped with the uptick in population resulting in substantial increases in pollutants, and eco-system damaging noise disturbances.
It is a priority to preserve our water and eco systems with as little disturbance and contaminants as possible, for ourselves and future generations.
