This is not taking into consideration the many species, including the Piping Plover, which rely on the habitat in Wasaga Beach as a means to exist. This area is one of the few remaining dune habitats left in Ontario and should not be paved over or allowed for housing development. Every Ontario resident and visitor should be able to enjoy these natural locations, and should not be privatized.
