Please, please, please keep this truly unique nature preserve intact as it is now. The rare species of the piping plover needs to be protected in order to keep the natural world around us safe. As soon as the masses arrive and trample down this incredible preserve, we are allowing humanity to succumb to greed and run roughshod over what is truly important to our survival, the natural world around us. I am heartsick that there is even one individual who thinks this is acceptable. What does this act teach our future generation about conservation?
