Please do not remove any portions of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park and do not sell it to any other parties. Many people enjoy visiting these protected parks. By removing these portions, many of which are extremely popular, you run the risk of these areas being developed and no longer accessible to the public. Beach 1 and 2 municipal lands were already sold to a developer to build. This will happen again if you sell portions of the beach and provincial park, which will take away beach access that many people enjoy. Wasaga beach is already being sold off to developers to develop municipal land, please do not allow developers to furher encroach on land, beach and picnic area that many people enjoy. Doing so will take it away from the people. It is critical that this not be allowed. Especially for working class and middle class people that don’t have their own cottages and their own private space to enjoy. Please do not take away any public and protected land. Not to mention their vast environmental benefits.
