I’m writing to express my opposition to the proposed sale and development of public land at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park.
Provincial parks are meant to protect nature, support biodiversity, and provide accessible green space for everyone, not to be sold off for private profit.
I urge the Ontario government to keep Wasaga Beach public, protected, and undeveloped.
I urge the Ontario government to LISTEN and RESPECT the people it is supposed to serve. I know that’s asking a lot, and I know Doug Ford wants us to be all business, but that’s not Ontario. He brought people to his cottage in Huntsville area to show them nature, which is ironic since he is so set on destroying it. The government needs to protect nature and stop making Ontario business only. We are not business only and never will be, and I for one never want to be. Ontario should, and will to me, always be “Yours to discover”.
