Provincial Park land is protected for many reasons. The first that comes to mind is preserving the precious natural ecosystem, including the wetlands we've already almost completely destroyed. Another one is providing Ontarians with access to their lands and waters, which is notoriously difficult in Southwestern Ontario, because so much of it is private.
If anything, land should be added, not removed. Not to mention we are only guests walking through this land; ceding it back to the First Nations it belongs to would be the only amendment that I would consider fair. Removing it from a protection plan for "economical" reasons is not it. No Ontarian citizen wants a Therme spa in Wasaga!
